We are Brisbane\u2019s first and only centre solely dedicated to the care of women living with lipoedema. Founded by a woman with lipoedema, our centre is built on understanding, lived experience, and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach. Here, women are heard, respected, and supported.<\/p><\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\r\n \r\n Do I need a referral to make an appointment? <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

No referral is required. You can contact us directly to book a consultation. However, if you have one from your GP or specialist, it may help us tailor your care more effectively.<\/p><\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\r\n \r\n Is your care covered by Medicare or private health insurance? <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

Some services may be partially covered depending on your individual health cover or care plan. We are happy to help you navigate your options and offer affordable care to make support more accessible.<\/p><\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

We understand that living with lipoedema can affect mental health and self-esteem. We provide compassionate care, peer support groups, and referrals to mental health professionals when needed. Empowerment, education, and community are central to our approach.<\/p><\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\r\n \r\n Is lipoedema treatable or curable? <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

Lipoedema is a chronic condition, but its symptoms can be managed effectively with the right support. While there is no known cure, conservative treatments can greatly improve pain, mobility, and quality of life. We focus on helping each woman reclaim control and confidence.<\/p><\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
